2Go Promo Fare for June, July, August, September 2018

2Go Travel just announced that they are having a promo this 2018 for select sailing dates on June, July, August, September.

Avail of this promo offer which 2Go says is as low as P675 base fare. Taxes, online ticketing fee, surcharges are exclusive of the base fare. You will need to add these to get the final 2go promo ticket price.

This promo is launch is to celebrate Cebu’s Sinulog Festival!

As you know, 2Go Travel sails multiple routes in the country. Example: to Zamboanga, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Ozamiz, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Romblon, Roxas, Caticlan, Odiongan, Dipolog, Palawan, and many more. Are voyages to these hubs included in the promo? We are not sure.

We are not yet clear whether or not this promo on Superferry covers the following:

• 2Go promo to Cebu only
• 2Go promo from Cebu only
• 2Go promo going to Cebu and back
• 2Go promo for all routes

If we get more info, we will update this post with specific as to what routes and destinations are covered by this 2Go promo fare 2018. Or you can try to check now via trial booking on the website of 2Go Superferry at www.travel.2go.com.ph and search for your preferred route, you might be lucky and see a discounted tickets.

PROMO TRAVEL DATE and BOOKING DATE

2Go Travel offers passengers promo booking starting today, January 19, and up to January 21, 2018, or until seat sale lasts.  While the travel period for this sale is from JUNE 18 to SEPTEMBER 18, 2018.

You can buy your tickets via online website of Superferry, call the hotline at (02) 528 7000, or visit select corporate branch offices. *This promo fare 2018 of 2Go Travel is not available in accredited travel and tour agencies.

TRIAL BOOKING

We made a trial booking to see if we can find as low as P675 base fare. Unfortunately, the lowest fare we found for voyage Manila to Cebu is P849.28. When you factor in all charges, the total cost of promo ticket becomes P1,184.79 (see Exhibit 1). This fare is still cheaper than regular ticket prices.

To prove that the P1,184.79 is a promo fare, we also get a sample ticket for February 2018 with regular rate (see Exhibit 2). The base fare is P1,226.78, and the total ticket rate if you will buy it is P1,607.59.

We encourage you to also check and search for promos especially if you plan to travel in June to September this year.

*Watch out for the famous 5 pesos tickets promo of 2Go this year! We hope that they will offer it again so passengers can sail home to the provinces on a cheap boat ticket. We are excited for that!
