FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE for Passengers
Trans-Asia gives free baggage allowance to their passengers, the weight of free baggage depends on the type of accommodation availed of by the passenger. Here are the specifics:
- 2nd class non-aircon / Aircon and Tourist passengers are allowed ( 2 ) 0.05 cubic meter or equivalent to 50 kilos of personal baggage.
- Cabin and Private Room passengers are allowed 0.10 cubic meter or equivalent to 100 kilos of personal baggage.
- Minor passengers are allowed personal baggage half that of an adult passenger.
- Infant passengers have no baggage allowance
Excess baggage will be deemed as ‘cargo’, and therefore subject to appropriate cargo handling fee.
Baggage items classified as under ‘commercial goods’ and not as “personal baggage”, are subject to cargo rates.

BOAT ADVISORY: TransAsia Shipping Lines accepts reservation requests for departures of at least 3 workings days from booking date. Passengers are advice to make reservations at Trans Asia Cebu Main office, SM Cebu City sales office, Pier 4 office or at their Provincial Main offices.
Ticket reservations may be suspended during peak dates when TransAsia vessels are about to be fully booked to accommodate walk-in passengers who physically line-up in their ticketing offices to buy tickets.
RESCHEDULING AND REVALIDATION OF TICKETS
Trans Asia tickets may be revalidated at any authorized Trans-Asia outlet provided said tickets have not yet expired or lapsed 60 days from departure date. Passenger must present his ticket and valid ID. Revalidated tickets are subject to fare rates prevailing at the time of revalidation. Ticket revalidation can only be done once and subject to the following surcharges:
- Before vessel departure – Php 60.00
- After vessel departure – 10% of regular basic fare + Php 60.00 + 12% VAT per ticket
